The mission of the Manchester School District volunteer program is to develop a partnership between school officials, parents, and members of the community by providing opportunities for citizens service that will enrich the lives of students and volunteers alike.

Manchester School District Volunteer Program The school district has revised its volunteer program and it impacts ALL parents/adults who wish to volunteer. Any parent/adult who plans on chaperoning a field trip, helping out at dances, or helping out at school functions, will be considered an “Other Volunteer” and is required to complete an application packet and attend an orientation session. Any parent/adult who will be working closely with students in the classroom, sports teams or after school activities, will be considered a “Designated Volunteer” and is required to complete an application packet, have a full criminal background check with fingerprinting and attend an orientation session. Applications Applications will be available in the office, the district volunteer page (under school on the district site), at the orientation sessions or from McLaughlin’s Volunteer Coordinator.
